Reply to "Abortion? At what point is it murder?"

I am vehemently against abortion except for rape, incest, and the health of the mother, which make up about 1% of all abortions. I also believe that it's the state's right to determine the legality of abortion. I come to these views through my faith. I can't, for the life of me, try to comprehend why people say things like "it's ok because it doesn't have a gender yet" or "it's not a fully developed human being until it's born".

Yet most pro-choice supporters are against the death penalty for convicted murderers. Wow, what a deranged thought process.
