The teenage choir members at Sheffield's First Methodist Church used to go spelunking. Perhaps, you could ask former members for first hand information.

There is an old legend that survivors from a hotel fire in Sheffield escaped thru a cave to the bluff. I've never been able to verify the story. The hotel was located next to the Prescription Shop, which I believe is now closed.
