i'm gonna reply even tho this is old now - and i finally understand why people are throwing numbers after bill's posts. i think it's a pure genius idea. i hope bills senelity will allow him to understand and adopt the new system, but i am afraid i don't have a lot of confidence in that. he seems to have trouble grasping ideas that are less than 400 years old. you know.. witches, demons, being afraid of women with no shirt on - typical dark ages mind-set. i wonder how often he blesses his computer so he doesn't get the devils from it?
and to the hippie person -
as i child i was indeed taught to respect my 'elders'. in fact i was taught this frequinetly by old people.
however, my sainted mother pointed out that people who deserve respect will make it clear they deserve respect by their words and their action. she taught me that respect was earned, not given freely because of age, or gender, or financial status, or political office.
if you give respect to people just because they have managed to not die yet, then your respect is worthless and contemptable.
but that fits, that bill would earn your respect, because he is contemptable. bill is one of the people that made me realize what a hateful, vile and wicked book of evil the bible really is, because if christianity was really a religion of peace and jesus really was the prince of peace, then someone as full of hate and fear and bile as bill would never be allowed to join their club.
Bill Grey is such a great advocate of athism that physicists everywhere should bow to him in graditude. bill has done more for athiests than moses ever did for the jews.
he should be made the patronizing saint of athiesm.
