Everyone thought that the BIG News this week was going to be the news about Bryce Young's NIL payday coming in to the tune of around 1 million dollars before he plays his first game as an Alabama Starter. Wrong! Today the rumor hit that both the University of Texas and University of Oklahoma have expressed interest into joining the SEC.
Given the location of the two schools it would be hard pressed to, if such happened as unlikely as it would be, to call either of the schools one of the SEC East Schools. Given the geography that the SEC covers Auburn would surely be moved to the SEC East and quite likely Alabama might be moved or possibly one of the Mississippi schools. Either way I doubt it would happen but can anyone imagine the League given those two mega schools if they both came into the fold.
I really doubt the rumor has validity but then who knows or why would it even gain enough steam to make it a valid topic on ESPN.
