BUYER BEWARE ! CRITIQUE OF VERIZONS "STORM CELL PHONE"

Verizon hyped their new touch tone I-Phone and that is expected as thats called "Marketing".

But here are some things you get...

1. A phone that is very awkward to hold and after about 10 minutes your hand starts to scream at you "put this thing down."
Its like holding a piece of rectangular wood with very few ways to grip it.

2.It is extremely difficult to get out of its carrier when you get a call. I have dropped mine several times while attempting to answer the phone.

3. It is not user friendly at all and is probably one of the most complicated phones I have ever attempted to use.

4.It drops calls about 3 times more than my LG phone. There are several places in the Shoals area it fades out and drops the calls continiously. 2nd street Muscle Shoals, Avalon Ave Muscle Shoals, Highway 72 in the Valdosta Area of Tuscumbia..

5. Extremely difficult to operate between programs...too many buttons to push to get to the program you want...

6.Its touch tone, so when you put it to your ear
to use as a cell phone, if your ear touches the screen too hard, it places the call on mute...or disconnects you completely..

7. Camera works very well and makes excellent pictures...

8. The Navagational (GPS) works very well and is the best I have ever used. This is the only reason why I have not thrown it as far as I could throw it several times. So! if you travel it comes in handy..

ITS AS IF THEY SAID, LETS MAKE A HAND HELD COMPUTER. THEN AT THE END IF CAME TO THEM IN A FLASH..."THIS IS SUPPOSE TO BE A CELL PHONE. HURRY! ADD IT SOMEWHERE..."
They forgot the ole addadage "Keep it Simple Stupid"

I would look at the Voyager before purchasing the Storm, as if I was not locked into the contract on this thing I would trade it...
The Verizon people have had several brought back due to its complexity and difficulty in operating.
Its does not match the hype of the marketing...
