Hmm.

10MPH? You got any idea just how much damage can be caused below 10MPH? Just ask the lady who backs over her kid in the driveway at 2 1/2 MPH because she just HAD to fire off that quick text message to her bff before she left home.

Or the guy in the bank drive-up line who forgot he was supposed to be holding his foot on the brake and rear-ended the car in front of him.

Or the one who decides to fire off a quick text while waiting at a traffic light at a crosswalk with pedestrians in it and hears a horn honk behind him and hits the throttle-thinking the light has changed before getting the big picture and realizing that there are still peds in the crosswalk, the light HASN'T changed yet, and the horn wasn't for him-as he turns a little old lady into a smear on the pavement with a bloody rag at the other end of it 40 feet past the crosswalk at 10 MPH.

People need to realize that cars have the potential to be deadly weapons. You wouldn't be texting on your phone with a gun in your other hand-WHY on earth would you do it in a car?
