Reply to "Chick -- I Have NEVER Wanted To See You Banned!"

Infomercial, I don't think you are reading the emoticons accurately. A smiley face is just that - a smile. It is most often used to indicate that no one means any offence by what they posted. It is another way of saying "peace".

A LAUGHING face, indicates GOOD NATURED laughter most of the time, although I have used it myself on occasion to laugh at an outrageous post.

With all of the new emoticons available on this newer version of the forum, one can express just about any feeling. Something grosses you out, you put up one of these - .  Someone posts something inanae, put one of these bad boys up - . If you want to razz someone, post one of these - . If someone makes you angry, . Embarrassed? Try this - . Confused? - . Shocked? - .

But a smile is always a smile, and should never be mistaken for someone laughing at you. Especially in this case. I know Semi well enough to know that she would never laugh at someone without explaining WHY.

So, peace out.
