This is NOT a board specified for people of religion. It is a forum for anyone that wants to do so, to discuss religion.
I post on the politics thread and so do you. I'm not a politician, are you?
You post on the food threads all the time, do you work for or own a restaurant?
You post on the news threads don't you? So do I. Have you been in the news? I haven't. Religion is a huge part of our lives, as big as politics. It would be foolish to ignore it and let so called christians decide what everyone should do, how they should live, how they should think, what they should subject themselves and their children to in schools and public. Again, the forum is to discuss religion, that means in any form you wish to discuss it. It never stipulated that a person had to be a believer to post here. So stop thinking you own the forum and set the rules for it just because of the title. As far as atheism being a religion, it is only you so called christians that want it called that. It doesn't matter one bit to me if you call it a religion, and if it is a religion, it's the best one out there.
Intent? Not your place to question. What do you consider 'disruption'? Not agreeing with you? As to who should be here, does that include christians that post erroneous things about people? How about christians that rewrite history? Should they be here unchallenged? Just what do you consider disruption? And lastly, if a poster upsets you so, or you just aren't interested in their opinions, you can always use block.
Can your belief system be destroyed? Wouldn't you and other so called christians destroy atheism if you could? Again, it is not up to you to 'rationalize' who should or shouldn't post here. As for the fighting that goes on here, from what I see it is 99.99% of the so called christians fighting with each other and running each other down, unless they can find common ground to gang up on someone else.
