From what I read, when something like this happens you just show up at home and find a squatter living there, in such a case if you came home, found people in the house, and then shot them because you thought they were burglers instead of someone who had filed some type of legal paperwork to rip you out of your home then what would happen to the real home owner for defending himself and his property? I was sort of alarmed by this because I have a couple of cabins and I often go several weeks or maybe even a couple of months without going to either one. If I were to walk in and find someone inside then I would assume they were robbing my home and take appropriate measures to defend myself.
