people will take and believe what they want. People also behave stupidly. A correction President Trump's comment was people will allow you to behave certain ways because of celebrity status. Just watch a golf tournament on TV, and see the idiots lined up just to high five a golfer. Or if you really want to see sick behavior go to a hotel where sports teams stay and watch fans make fools of themselves. Don't blame the rich and famous for the behavior of idiots.
