Reply to "How will MLK fare with respect to Trump and our Nations founders or past military heroes?"

Will the new revelations about Martin Luther King actually have any effect on how he is seen by history and how he is treated?  Will he get a pass on the women he had and his comments on the rape that occurred right before him?

Time will tell how he will be seen and treated but remember King's own words about being treated by a person's content of their character rather than the color of his skin.  If that measure is applied to Martin Luther King in respect of the newly revealed information that was compiled on him and his actions then how will he be judged?  Could be, if he could speak again today, he might would rather be judged on his color.  For one it's difficult to hear some of the comments about his actions and those actions of others when they were clergy or representatives of the Church but that's yet another story and topic.  Then again even bringing this up with regards to this particular man of History would today be considered racially biased.  This is the same trap people fell into with Obama.  Complaining about Obama's politics immediately would lead to accusations of racism in some people's minds.  Especially the liberal media would steer conversations that direction it seems so why would MLK be treated any differently?
