That's true of any fast food place. It was even true when I was in high school 25 years ago.

The trick I discovered back then is that when you have that gnawing empty feeling in your stomach (as opposed to merely "it's time for lunch") you ignore all the sandwiches those places have to offer and get a milkshake instead. Guaranteed to fill you up.
