Not hardly. He wasn't intelligent enough to keep his or O'biden's mouth shut on several occasions. Perhaps you remember Obama's statement about small town people being bitter and clinging to guns and religion? Or Biden's comment that it was patriotic to pay high taxes?

These are just the tip of the iceberg. But, the media was so flush with the charisma of the possibility of having Obama as president, they couldn't be swayed from giving him their nearly total attention.
