Exactly, Decatur without unions was doing quite well in the 70's and 80's.

Yep, Decatur was doing great in the 80s, they were the city with higher unemployment than the shoals at 36%

I would like to see your proof of that. I worked on a lot of expansions in Decatur in the 80's.
