When I was in high school, my best friend's "beloved family dog" walked up to me (unprovoked) and took a huge bite out of my leg. This was a dog that I had been around hundreds of times. Sometimes even the most passive animals can be unpredictable. Perhaps we should wait to hear all the facts...
