I am not saying that you are a Liberal. However, if it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck -- odds are pretty good it is a duck.
You may say that you are not Liberal -- yet, the church which you keep telling us about is most certainly Liberal.
Yes, the Roman Catholic church is Conservative in social issues. However, in matters of theology -- it is most certainly Liberal.
And, you are right. Only you and God knows your spiritual position; yet, like the fig tree, "fruit" without thorns is a very good indicator.
