Reply to "O.J. confesses: I did it"

I think race may have had a small factor in the outcome of the case. This was only a couple of years after the Rodney King riots and everyone was prepared for another set of riots if OJ was convicted. The main factors though was simply poor prosecution and bad detective work. Too many mistakes were made when the case was being put together and the prosecution did not explain the evidence properly. Several jurors said afterwards they didn't understand exactly what the DNA evidence meant. Remember, this was one of the first cases where DNA was presented. OJ got off simply because of bumbling cops and better defense attorneys.
