The law is the law. Whether or not L.A. reacted violently has no bearing on the verdict. I think jurors take their job seriously. When you serve on a jury, you look at a real flesh and blood person and know your decision decides their fate. We can make light of it all day, but when someone is faced with that and they're in a group faced with the same (accountability!), they do their best to make the right choice using the evidence and the facts they are given.
