Reply to "Question to the Forum community about Mattresses"

There has still not been anything made that beats a good quality innerspring mattress.  Using queen size as an example, I'd choose a 660 coil for good support and allow the padding to dictate how firm a feel I like. I don't care much for the memory foam or air mattresses but a the last set I bought had a layer of memory foam in the padding and I do like it.

 Some shopping tips below from a guy who used to own a mattress store:

Please be mindful that the mattress and box spring are designed to work together so avoid mismatched sets. Lay on the mattress in the store, roll around, get comfortable. Make sure you like the set before you buy it.  Stores don't mind if you lay on the display mattress sets, they'd rather make sure you like the set you get than for you to call back unsatisfied. Last but not least, buying a mattress is like buying a car, don't pay the asking price.
