Reply to "RE: "HARD TIMES""

Did anyone happen to catch this in the article which appeared in the Tues 03-01 edition of the TD entitled: Two arrrested in seperate chases?

Terry said he told the man, identified later as Goins, to stop and get out of the car, but he refused.

“He started the car toward me and I shot him through the window with a taser and he drove off, making a U-turn in Cajuns' parking lot, almost hitting the building, and then going north toward Florence,” Terry said.

Terry said after crossing O'Neal Bridge, Goins got caught in traffic on Mitchell Boulevard. Terry said he rammed the back of the suspect's vehicle, pushing him up on the curb to prevent any kind of accident.

Goins was taken into custody by Terry and officer Ramon Shultz.

“We still don't know why he ran; we didn't find anything inside the car,” Terry said.

He said Goins's driver's license, which had been suspended, was reissued Tuesday.

“We asked him why he ran and he said his picture had been in a local publication and he thought he had outstanding warrants, but none that we have found,” Terry said.

Is this stating that perhaps the information in HARD TIMES is not always accurate????
WHAT if this chase had ended in someone's life being taken including the alleged perpetrator?
Did he run BECAUSE his picture appeared in HARD TIMES?
This publication is sensationalistic in nature and those who support this simply show their callousness and delight in other's misery.
And, UNFORTUNATELY, as has been PROVEN from the posts on this forum, there are a LOT of such individuals who fit this description in the Shoals.
AND, oh yeah, a LOT of BIG churches!
