I am a mother and I am pro choice. How do you reconcile that in your mind? Do you honestly think that all liberals believe every pregnancy should end in abortion? There are reasons and circumstances for abortion. Not every pregnancy is the same. A woman can have a few children and then her circumstances change and become pregnant and decide to abort.
Why would Chelsea abort her pregnancy? She is financially able to support a baby, she is married, as far as we know right now she is healthy enough to carry it to term, there is no reason to believe that there are any serious birth defects, she seems to be very happy about the pregnancy, so what reason do you think she should or would abort? Because she is a liberal? If that is what you are saying then that is a ridiculous idea.
If a 11 year old girl was raped by her father and became pregnant, could she have an abortion? Or should she be further traumatized by a 9 month pregnancy and painful birth of her own brother or sister?
Should a woman with 3 kids who has lost her job and her BC failed and becomes pregnant have another child that she would not be able to feed or support? Who pays for that child? How can she find employment to support her children if she is pregnant?
Should a woman who finds out that the baby has severe birth defects and will live a short and painful life not be allowed to abort?
Who should make these decisions? Me? You? Or the female that has the real burden and faces the true reality of these situations?
Liberals are pro choice. That means they believe the choice should be left up to the woman. I have no idea where you got the notion that Liberals are against anyone having a baby. That would be anti-choice. I have never heard any Liberal say that women should end every pregnancy. That must be some strange right wing lie on infowars or some other extremist blog site. Liberals have babies every day. Matter of fact every generation gets more and more liberal in this country.
If we could get liberals to be as "hands off" when it comes to a business owner's business or to someone's financial life as they are when it comes to a woman's reproductive system then we would be getting somewhere.
