Reply to "Shoals' area drivers..."

We've been out here about 3 1/2 years. My hubby was out of work almost 3 years back in the Shoals and running out of unemployment benefits before he got the job offer to move out here to La La Land. We just broke down and bought a house out here in October so we're not planning on coming back to the Shoals until he retires (maybe another 10 years) and we can live off of his military retirement pay. He is a Lt Col in the Air Force Reserves in addition to this civilian job. We don't hold much hope of the Shoals rebounding enough that he could find employment back there. As for me, I do executive admin support for a major aerospace company in El Segundo, CA where all the big gov't contractors are based.
