Why in the world would anyone be ashamed of Alabama, the most wonderful state in the union!! Of course we have a few trash families that have shamed us in the past, and the kids are still drunks and other things although not all folks know their history. Still, the old patriarchs have died out, and now, one would hope, law enforcement won't let the younger generations get away with the things the old men got away with. Even with those in our past, Alabama still is the best place to be.
