Well you have to give it to the Republicans, they use tactics for voter suppression that are more of a permanant nature and requires more than a picture of black panthers to intimide potential voters, It is much more effective to achieve the intended results of alienating a voting block through rules than the presence of a few scary looking black men at a polling station.
These same tired old pics of panthers are used EVERY time by the republicans for ANY charge of voter suppression. Nothing new to see here.
Just watch the recall election results in Wisconsin and the other states where the folly of electing the radical right teabaggers and the resulting calamity which has followed and then we can see if this although legal, deliberate act of voter suppression can be changed. That and MANY expensive court cases.
You have to give it to the "rethugs", they may not wear black leather but they really know how to intimidate.
