There are great people who don't spell well, sure. There are also great people who do their best at what they do, including posting on a forum: that's the point. Secondly, you speak about accepting people for whom they are as opposed to what they write. On a forum, we only know people from their writings. Therefore, they should represent themselves as accurately as possible. Again, that's important in a community created through writing. Lastly, there is a reason you don't understand why I am "picking apart each and every sentence" of yours: I'm not! I was simply replying to distinct points with distinct answers for the purpose of clarity. And, by the way, congrats on your experience with message boards.

Since this topic has gotten so far off, I will say Congrats on your new child, protect&serve!!!

As far as TD getting your name right, I think that is bad business, since they are PROFESSIONAL, and the people on the boards are not.

I am not going to argue with you, dbt, or be baited, someday you may see where I am coming from, and someday you may not... no matter.

If I ever did anything to make the TD paper, I would definitely want my name spelled correctly...

Whew, I think I brought this back onto the original topic....lol.
