James 2:26 As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead. Sorry- I'm not calling you foolish- that's St James. And I think I would I'd believe him over you. Now, you will go on to say "oh but works are the fruit of salvation". I know plenty of people who are "saved" yet they are selfish, self righteous and do no charity. I think this is what James is warning about. It's not enough to profess Jesus, we have to ACT like him in taking care of our fellow man. And no, that doesn't automatically just happen when we "get saved"
