Republicans attacked the Capitol in an attempt to stop the certification of the election... to hold onto power.
Republicans openly admit to doing these things... to try and hold onto power.

Republicans, being so invested in Trump, can't admit any wrong committed by Trump or it will compromise their personal identity and therefore, no matter how much evidence surfaces, must continue to deny the attempted coup in order to keep their low information bubble intact.
