Tey, I think the opposition to the new hospital was as to where it was being built. I have no problem with where it is going to be, but if the quad cities worked together, instead of pulling against each other, the pizzing contest as to which side of the Tennessee Ocean it was located should not have happened, and IMHO , would have been built on part of the old TVA Res. Personally, I'm kinda glad it isn't going to be put there, because I live fairly close by and those sirens going all night would kinda be a nuisance, not to mention the additional traffic and the main thing this area likes - stop lights.
