I am against Obama mostly for his tax issues. I worked my way through college and flight school "it took 10 yrs" and now enjoy a income that Obama deems excessive. His tax rate hike combined with eliminating the S.S. cap will hit me twice. So I have a few questions for my left leaning forum members.
1. Do you ever pay enough in taxes?
2. At what dollar figure are you rich
3. Why do you constantly call people who you consider rich evil? After all most of them sacrificed time and money going to school or starting a business. I do not read post after post of people degrading less fortunate people in that manner.
Conversely
1. Does someone who is not legitimately disabled ever reach a monetary cap of assistance or is government assistance never ending?

The answers to your questions are as follows:

1. In my view, income tax is unconstitutional. But there are plenty of other taxes out there to keep us miserable. So I would say that everybody probably pays more than enough taxes! However, if you feel that you are going to be paying too much income tax, then just make less money. Problem solved! Wink

2. When I refer to the "rich", I'm probably talking about those whose wealth is measured in the billions. Or at the least, hundreds of millions.

3. Thankfully, for the sake of humanity, a few of these rich people put their money back into the system. Meaning they either donate a lot to charities or causes or use it for whatever useful good reason they can find. The evil filthy stinking rich are the ones who horde it. They have so stinking much of it that, and thanks to the fractional reserve banking laws they created, all they have to do is sit on their ass and let their money breed with itself and replicate wildly. They know the more they have, the less we have. And they intend to keep it that way. That's their job. Well that and to rule the world! Money is their God. And money is their power.

4. See number 3 above!

I don't believe Obama deemed any amount excessive. However if you feel you are borderline excessive, then I'm sure you'll be alright! Smiler

A lot of the rich do not give back. Some do.

The baby boomers who went to school probably went to school on a grant created by the democrats or the left as you call it.

Some that were dirt poor forget where they come from and not thinking that others would like to succeed like they did.

Today's middle class kids cannot get the grants needed without high interest verses people who got grants in the sixties and seventies got college grants on the democrat plan.

In the last two years, Obama gave less than 1% of his five to $6 million income to charity. Look at Obama’s half siblings out there living in poverty. George Obama lives in a hut on less than $12 a year. When Obama talked about that passage about caring for 'the least among us,' it was just more empty words.
My husband and I both work and have two children. At the end of the year when we file our taxes we do not get back what we paid in to the federal government but we do get more than several others do...for instance...my parents who pay in say $20,000.00 to the federal government only get back $100.00 but then the state collects that and more. On the other hand I have friends where only one person in the household is working or either they are single parents and they pay in $1500.00 to federeal government and receive a refund triple that amount. I know that the less fortunate need help but this doesn't seem quite fair...does it? I feel bad for my parents because they are in their 60's now and have worked so hard all their lives. Back when they were young it wasn't the governments place to help the poor it was the local communties, churches, and friends. This is just my opinion and know that several of you may not agree with it but I just feel that people have become to dependent on the American government...and a lot of people are out to get whatever they can get free...
