OK, who else thinks this is wrong, the "teaser" shows 2 men kissing. I think that it should be blocked in Alabama, if they can block the hard core porn channels they should surely be able to block this crap. Sometimes I wish I would have had children.....until I see something like this that they should be protected from.

Is 2006 the magic year or something? Now smut is okay? I have a block set on my television, which works for everything (I think?) except videos and I can block video channels. Anything not rated PG is blocked. I'm that extreme because PG-13 might as well be R. This is not only for my teenagers benefit. I don't want to see it either.
I dont know what the year has to do with anything, but I think queers are wrong and nobody should have to see that crap. I also think that it is wrong that not all of the Direct TV channels are available in Alabama, my point is someone has decided that we dont need to see all of the 590 channels (porn) but they will put this crap on prime time on A&E no less. I do think that it is a parents job to teach their kids that being a queer is wrong, I just think it would be easier to teach if the children didnt see someone making it ok or cool.
Nothing wrong with getting a little freaky in private, we all have to draw our on personal lines. My pastor said that anything is ok as long as everyone is in agreement. Different people agree to different things I guess. I doubt this is an easy lifestyle in our small towns, no parades or martches or whatever.
For me, seeing two men kissing is disgusting. I didn't choose to be disgusted by it, I was born this way. I've known since middle school that I felt an attraction towards women. I realized then that I was a heterosexual. It was tough, but my parents were very accepting when I came out straight.

I can't help being straight, I just am. Part of being straight is feeling physically sick when I see two men kissing or any other queer act. It offends me and I shouldn't have to see it, nor should any other straight person. Why impose this on us? Do straight people not have rights?

I'll use this quote the next time you complain about having to see a Nativity scene or Easter decorations on public property.

Using the term " gay " to describe a homosexual offends me. Gay means happy. Queer means out of the norm or diffrent.

Gay  /geɪ/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[gey] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation adjective, -er, -est, noun, adverb
–adjective
1. having or showing a merry, lively mood: gay spirits; gay music.
2. bright or showy: gay colors; gay ornaments.
3. given to or abounding in social or other pleasures: a gay social season.
4. licentious; dissipated; wanton: The baron is a gay old rogue with an eye for the ladies.

Queer  /kwɪər/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[kweer] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation adjective, -er, -est, verb, noun
–adjective
1. strange or odd from a conventional viewpoint; unusually different; singular: a queer notion of justice.
2. of a questionable nature or character; suspicious; shady: Something queer about the language of the prospectus kept investors away.
3. not feeling physically right or well; giddy, faint, or qualmish: to feel queer.
4. mentally unbalanced or deranged.

Obsenity , I understand.

Well Put Gent, may as well shut the forums down, God offends some, Football offends some, Colbert surely offends some. This was not an attack at all just an opinion.

I call it regress.

Homosexuality is revolting. I almost threw up when I read my sister's college psychology book and it discussed sex acts that homosexuals (male and female) do. Decorum will not allow me to post what I read.

What you do in the bedroom is your business. However, gays, lesbians, etc. made a choice. They must adjust to it. Majority of America (in the 80-90%+ here) are straight/heterosexual. I don't think anyone expects that majority to cater to the homosexual minority (number speakhere, not talking minority as in race).

Nobody but you and your significant other needs to know you have no problems in that area. The rest of us would rather not know. Razzer

Hey, what about all those " soft porno books" you women read? My wife is hooked on those dang things. Joy, do you read them? come on now joy be honest Wink

No, hate them...sorry. Those things will melt your brain! Smiler My husband is the romantic one of the two of us. I love 'sitting on the edge of your seat' suspense and mysteries...really good ones, unpredictable where the ending comes as a total surprise. Amazingly enough, these are few and far between. Agatha Christie remains the queen of mystery writers. I don't like the "let's get into the mind of the criminal" type mysteries, just 'after the fact' solving the mystery.
I dont know where your research comes from but if a man molests a young boy, tha man is a homosexual, not a straight male by any means...I have seen what can happen to a molested child, self-esteem destroyed, confused, overcome with guilt and self-doubt...a shell of his former self and the molester goes free to do it again. I know of which I speak, I work with these kids everyday....
