But in several nations, Catholic priests hold ceremonies where they "bless" people's pet dogs and cats--turtles and hamsters also, should these show up for blessing. Ain't THAT a bit frivolous?

In this nation, priests show up to bless custom cars.

Awwwww....better, the "pet blessing" is sweet and harmless! My kids favourite day fo shizzle!

Perhaps blessing cats and dogs and goats is a priets' highest calling.

I agree vplee. One of the nicer things in life.

....and, if I might add, it has helped me teach my children that God cares for ALL living things, and that even our pets are His creation!
