There is indeed an offense so terrible the death penalty is warranted. Murder for one comes to mind.

Look up the other countries that still practice capital punishment and see who we are like. We have some very strange bedfellows.

The death penalty doesn't deter murder. All of the evidence supports this. The death penalty is barbaric and in only practiced by barbarians. What you think is your problem.

We got prisoners dying of old age before sentence is carried out.  That's justice denied for the victims, and just plain wrong.................................................................Agree with Sassy Kims!

Excellent example of a case that screams for the death penalty

I bet it stops the murderer convicted of doing it again. Do ya think?

So would life without parole.  But, a death penalty cost 10X to administer than a life sentence.

Yes it does, it is not done correctly. If you would give the murderer 2 appeals and a 3 year limit, it would not cost so much. We need to implement something like TX has in that in the case of 2 or more witnesses you get 1 appeal and 1 year. I bet that may be a deterrent for murder. Do ya think?
