Correct me if I'm wrong. Every employer has to fill out an I-9 form to verify employee status and identity. These forms are not submitted to anyone, but they are required. If the government would require those forms to be submitted to the dept of labor every time a person is hired -- they would have a record of every legal and illegal employee. Which if the person is illegal, then they would be able to go after the employer for hiring the illegals. I know they'll never do that, but they already have the form in place to protect legal workers and employers. If you hire illegals -- you should get in trouble for it -- but that shouldn't mean illegals should make as much or more than legals.

Insane to the core, what I am saying is that the Labor Dept. isn't worried about americans Jobs just the little darlins that is going to put Obama back in Office in 2012 if he can rush amnesty through before the Election. every body in Washington is crooked as a barrel of Snakes., we are being run by that Chicago style politics now.

deporting the illegals would stop it too. An illegal making ten dollars per hour is netting income far greater than a legal resident making ten dollars per hour.

I firmly agree with this act. When an illegal calls and complains about unfair wages we should fix the problem immediately. Send them back to their country and let them earn their fair wage!

I'm sorry but they should demand that illegsls be paid the same so that they can stop undercutting American workers. Don't forget, it is still illegal to hire them so if this last advantage is removed, employers will have to start doing the right thing.
