My brother-in-law works for a subcontractor for a major U.S. grocery chain, and is a union member.  He called me yesterday afternoon and informed me that his employer had fallen victim to Obamacare regulations.  His major medical insurance premiums are set to go up in October to the tune of an extra $3600 per year.  He's the sole wage-earner for a family of 4. So much for B.O.'s claim to be a champion of the middle class.

That's what happens when you take the single payer and public option off the table and leave the private insurance companies as the sole provider of insurance coverage. That's not competition. That's not even free market choice! There is no choice!

Americans don't like the present version of Obamacare precisely because of this; because Obama caved to the Republicans early on and let this happen. I'm sure he's much wiser now and won't think the Republicans will play nice and be his friend as he did at one time.

If somebody was careless with fire, and it burned my house down, you bet I going to blame him.

And I'm not going to stand for his buddies complaining that I'm not building it back fast enough to suit them, either.
