Since moving from Memphis, I have still used my MEM doctors. Any body have good recommendations for a good General Practitioner MD. and a OBGYN in the quad cities.

yes yes yes!!! DR. GALPULTOS (Helen Keller Hosp)is the BEST OBGYN dr... 
And I personally believe DR. Miranda Decker (Russellville) is the most THUROUGH doctor I have ever met in my life!

HIFLYER, I have used Dr. Stephen Keith in Florence as my OBGYN for about five or six years, and he has a fantastic bedside manner. He really cares about his patients. He's next to ECM Hospital.
As for family doctors, I finally convinced my family to start using an internist (internal medicine specialist), and they have been very, very pleased with Dr. Loren McCoy in Muscle Shoals. He is thorough, will conduct research on his own time regarding your problem, and he does not hesitate to make a referral to a specialist when he needs to.

Just to throw a couple more names at you, Dr. Woodford is my gyn/ob and I have great respect for him. As for MD, I would highly recommend Dr. Richard Cunningham. He is fairly new to this area. I have been very pleased with him. Several of my residents use him and really like him. Hes here in Florence over by the high school and Dr. Woodford is in the medical building by ECM. Highly recommend both of them.

I would recomend Dr. Cunningham also. He is a freind and a great physician. He is a D.O. not an M.D.
Dr. Cunningham is the most personable doctor I have been to in this area.
I also think Woodford and Cunningham! Both are good guys and great Doctors!

Hi! I would like to recommend Dr. Kenneth Rose in Muscle Shoals for your primary physician. He is fairly new in this area and is still accepting new patients I think. I tend to be fairly picky since I have worked with many of the doctors in this area. Dr. Rose is knowledgeable, personable and thorough. I have even started taking my Dad to him, which is a true testimonial to what I think of him. Welcome to the Shoals!

You will really like Dr. Robbins, if you don't mind waiting. She tends to get behind, because she spends so much time with her patients. Dr. Woodford and his patner Dr. Allen are also good. I know that Dr. Robbins and Dr. Woodford both went to UT Medical in Memphis for both their medical school and residency before TennCare messed up the program.
We have had a Great experience with Dr. Evans, as far as quality and and bedside manner. However; the WAIT can make you nuts.
