I thought I was the only one who noticed the personal attacks. I thought the rules had changed and even started sending people to hell to get it ready for me. It is a sad day if interventor is banned....

No, I'm Firenze. Vick and I favored stem cell research on embryos, and Peter Rielly opposed it. I think I was just a twit, but Vick was trash.

When I was an LEO, I was called more names than George Carlin said you couldn't say on TV... at the time. I just let my pen do the talking.... as on the bond on a traffic citation, etc.

But one thing as a Southern boy I've never gotten used to is men calling women names. If that is the only way a man can win an argument, he ain't no man at all.

And in my physical presence, he won't do it.

Perhaps your can enlightened us on the Interventor situation. None of us would want the same to happen to us; however, none of us knows what the “same” is.

I've blocked them forever, but I went back. I can see DF's outrage when Bill said something "Bill who gave you the right to condemn......etc" but when you try to find the post bill put up condemning nothing is in it much. And what4's are so benign he sounds like a happy little angel dancing along with his little wings.

Bill says the AP answered him back. Well, when you make a complaint they answer back if they make a determination either for or against the poster you complained about. I haven't gotten a reply in a PM or on the feedback. Have you guys?

I stopped reading him so long ago that I do not know what you are talking about!!! Would "All of Jesus's righteousness and none of his compassion cover it?" Once said to a young minister by his mother who was an acquaintance of mine. I run up on that situation quite often!

BILL'S REPLY: First of all, I could not have taken anything off the Forum -- for I do not have the capabilities to remove anything. If anyone would take the time to notice; I have never started a discussion -- although I have often wanted to do so. In the first month or so that I was on the Forum, I communicated frequently with the TD Tech Support about why I could not instigate a discussion. I can post replies; but, I cannot start a discussion.

By the same token, I cannot send anyone a PM. I can respond to a PM sent to me -- but, I cannot send an initial PM.

Tech Support and I have tried to figure out why I cannot do this. My system is a Windows XP, running Windows Explorer 6.0, I have Java activated. We cannot understand why this is happening -- so both Tech Support and I have given up.

Also, Vick, for this same reason, I cannot EDIT a posting or REMOVE a posting once I have submitted it. With that in mind, how could I have removed ANY nasty comments you say that I have posted against you or anyone?

Regarding the PMs between AP and me: AP sent a PM suggesting that I should not use my personal name and e-mail address on the Forum. I responded that since I am only on the Forum to share God's Word, especially with the many I call the "silent readers" -- those hundreds or thousands who read the Forum but do not respond or post; not wanting them to be influenced by the atheistic rhetoric I have found in the "What Is A Christian" discussion -- I want them to have my real name and e-mail address in case they do have a question which they will not post on the Forum. I am proud to be a Christian and proud to have my name associated with being a Christian.

Bill -- you are about a full of it as far as I can see...if you can't figure out how to click the little buttons to do the things you "claim" you cannot do ... you have proven your intelligence and ability to take direction is minimal -- hence, why you have opted to be your own boss of sorts.

I use 4 different computers to post on these boards -- all of them have the same stuff on it you posted and I can use all of those little buttons to my heart's content. I think you do use them -- Lord knows, none of us can use them for you or we would delete you completely from the forum some times.

But you go ahead and live in your little part of Denial all you want too...it's a good place to visit, but you don't want to live there...

Maybe you are right, I am just a dummy. But, I am a dummy who spent almost fifty years of my life in the computer industry; twelve years in the technical end; and about thirty-five in Application Engineering/Sales/Marketing. During that time I presented many technical seminars to large and small groups of engineers and technicians -- about how microcomputers and communication networks work. Of course this was before microcomputers were called PCs or MACs. So, you are right. I am just a dummy who knows nothing about computers.

In those years I worked with two young guys who were programmers. They were the programming staff for MITS, Inc. in Albuquerque and I ran around the country giving microcomputer seminars for the company, setting up sales offices, and was instrumental in getting the second computer store in the world (Byte Shop, Paul Terrell, Mountain View, CA), and the first computer store chain, Byte Shops, started. By the way, the two young programmers I worked with at MITS, Inc. were named Bill Gates and Paul Allen. Possibly you have heard of them.

But, again, I am just a dummy who does not know which buttons to push.

By the way, you might contact Andrea at TimesDaily, in Tech Support. Their staff have not been able to solve the problem either.

But, DixieChik, since you are so more talented than TD Tech Support and Bill Gray -- please feel free to jump in and help us solve this problem. I will be deeply in your debt.

Also, while you are solving my problem; please do it on both my computers. You see, I have a desktop running Windows XP Home Edition, Internet Explorer, Java, and FireFox -- it will not allow me to use your little buttons.

And, I have a Dell Inspiron laptop running Windows XP Professional, Internet Explorer, etc. -- and it will not allow me to use your little buttons either.

Boy, if you can solve this, I will be able to post new discussions, new PMs -- wow! I will be a happy camper. Let me know when you will take over from TD Tech Support and do this for me. I truly will appreciate your help.

The guy that I admin for, worked for Microsoft too, was lead in most their operations, and then retired to start his own company that he's about to launch the new wave of software from, that will make him loads of money. Does anyone care to know this? I bet not.

Excellent point. I might just do that. You'd not believe how many times I did force myself not reply to his nonsense. Or how much I've restrained myself, when I did.

I am almost too nosy, to really totally ignore someone. Plus I like defending myself against some of the nonsense, especially if it's not true, or can be defaming to me. However, if he continues on, I'm going to have to in order to enjoy /my/ time that I do have to play on here.
