Today your Republican Senators sent this message:

Actually, the grammar is okay.  The unintended meaning, if one takes the message literally, is one really big goof! For any who might be too dense to "get it," the message is saying that America is forever indebted for the assassination of Lincoln.  Probably the only segments of American that are ideologically indebted to John Wilkes Booth are the neo-N a z i s, the KKK, and the neo-Confederate

historical revisionists.

See if you can find one that purports to represent all the Democrats in one house of Congress and then goofs as absurdly as the Thank-you-John Wilkes Booth number the GOP senators put up.

Not nearly as absurd as the GOP post lauding the DEATH of Lincoln!

Not recognizing the American Flag, past or present, is not absurd to you?

Are you implying it is Obama's fault the Republicans elected to our Senate are unable to articulate a phrase that  says what they intend ?  Why not try the old mantra of people accepting responsibility ?,

You, like many similarly careless  others, have mis-quorted Sir Winston.  Here is the authoritative information concerning what he actually said and how various careless incompetents have misquoted the great man:

So, the actual quote was "This is the sort of bloody nonsense up with which I will not put.”  An even better indictment of those demanding grammar correctness at all cost.,

In other words, you stand corrected.

LOL!  Enjoy!!

For contendah since he struggles and seems not to understand posts.

What if?-Hypothetical question

Who would be surprised-well, given the fact the dems have no problem twisting words, altering tapes, re-writing history among other things, who would be surprised to find out it was altered and sent around.

Still see no reason for a 'grammer policeman'.

I, Contendah, have not argued for any "grammer [or grammar] policeman" My point, if you missed it, is that the way that GOP Senatorial tweet was written is absolutely ludicrous.  When elite members of a party that bills itself as the "party of Lincoln" post a tweet that, taken as written, exults in the assassination of that same great President, any grammar problems take a back seat to blue-ribbon clumsiness and fumbling in the realm of communication.
