I love praising God for everything he's done for me and all that he is to me, but I agree that the sweetest times with him have been when I got real before him, communed with my Father, who is delighted to visit with and minister to the real me. Smiler

ever heard the gossip "story".. I cant remember the context, but it goes like this:

A person did some damaging gossip, and went to a priest for confession.
He was trying to "fix" the damage caused by his gossip.
So the priest told him to take a feather pillow, take it atop a building, and slash it open. Then he went back to the priest, and said "ok, Father, i've done my pennance."
And the Priest said,
"Now, go pick up every single feather"

What a powerful illustration about how irreversible gossip can be.

I agree...very good illustration. Smiler

Although hallelujah means highest praise, which I suppose means the highest praise you can offer God, I believe his objective is a relationship with each of us. Since we know a relationship without honesty and trust won't go far, this explains why trying to put on a pretty face with God does not work. He already knows the side of us we're trying to hide from him and from others and loves us anyway. To have a real relationship with him and with others, we have to be real.

Article states she had a bad marriage from the start and no affair.

He would definitely be a home wrecker too but she's the one that puts herself out there as a "Christian". Of course, she would deny they were having an affair. That would be a dumb thing to do & would have ruined her career.

I remember when this all came about. Vince Gills wife gave an interview in which she stated that there was definitely an affair, if not physical, than emotional at the beginning, which turned physical later. She stated when he asked for a divorce he told her he had fallen in love with someone else.
'''She stated when he asked for a divorce he told her he had fallen in love with someone else.'''

Falling out of love with someone and having a physical affair with someone else is not the same thing.
Many people fall out of love with each other. As long as Amy and Vince were not having an intimate relationship, it was not an affair. Neither ex said they were.

Anyway, they have been married 10 years now, so great.
