I don't guess they have released the names yet? I have customers on that stretch of road.

they are looking for a Kevin Garner as person of interest, driving a Green Subura Legacy . ala tag AW03851, maybe from priville, Al area, TV 19 will be on the the scence with a report shorty

I know where 71 is, but not 73. There are some Garners in Lexington--if they are related, I'm sure they don't want to be.

They have found the Subura in Somerville at a house, now looking for a 2006 .. white Honda tag # AW03853

They just updated Shoals Insider to say 4 people now. This is too close to home for me!!!

This section of 73 is off of the old highway (47). Rogers school has been on lockdown this morning. Rumor has it this was a domestic situation.

Did a reverse lookup--Tammy Garner was the householder.

He killed his wife, daughter, his sister and his nephew.... i have family that goes to Rogers and they know the the kids that were murdered, very upset.... this is tragic!

I posted about the school lockdown then deleted it after seeing this thread. Last year after a local shooting there was a lockdown also.

The girl by that name I knew is from Rogersville.

Gr8, do you know how the authorities found the bodies? How they knew he was a suspect?

This is a terrible situation for the Greenhill community. I hope they find this guy and hold him accountable and find out why on earth he would go to this extreme -- there had to be another way to get a resolution than this -- my thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends...

There's an article in today's TD about such crimes. They said three in the past week. Usually some failure triggers it and they want revenge.

I cannot comprehending wanting revenge. I also couldn't comprehend the man in the Dothan area. He was 28 and thought he was a failure. A failure at 28--so was Lincoln.

My daughter texted me. Rogers was under lockdown a little over an hour ago. Police were at the school. These kids are not only hurting for the loss of their schoolmate, but also are scared. She said they have prayed for the family and their own safety. Heartbreaking when your children are scared and you can't be with them. Please pray for the family of these victims and the children of Rogers that they may find some way to cope with this tragedy.

Heard from a friend that the suspect and his wife were in divorce court yesterday. Supposedly, his sister was on his wife's side.

This took place on County Rd 73, if you are familiar with the churches in the area, it is on 73 between CR 47 (Lone Cedar Church of Christ) and CR 34 (Stutts Rd Church of Christ). It is also not far from the Lauderdale County Children's Home. What a horrible, horrible tragedy. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

As well as coworkers and strangers. He will probably be like the rest of them and kill himself.

Lauderdale County High School is under lockdown too, my son just notified me by text. My husband works/or used to work with the sister of the one woman who was killed (I believe she was the wife of the man they think did it). I haven't heard any more than what's been posted.

Oh dear - this is RIGHT HERE in my neck of the woods. I am on C/R 36. Haven't heard anything else but will certainly be praying for this family.

They said on WAAY that the person of interests home has been set on fire... they have a crew on the way

I think they should allocate a comparable amount of time to showing these people being fried in the electric chair for their crimes. Or if they get life without parole, show what really goes on in the showers in AL State Prisons.

And for the women who drown their kids while their husbands are at work, and so forth. To act like men are the only ones who do these things would be irrational. Not sure if you meant it that way, just want us to remember that this can happen to and by anyone, regardless of sex or social status.

I just heard that one of the victims worked at Belk's and that the store is also on lockdown. This has not been confirmed.

I wish the police would tell us where they think this crazy psycho is right now. They can track the three vehicles that he's driven, but can't tell us what area he was last seen near?

TSC according to the news they think he is in the Priceville area or something because they found the first car near Somerville and the second was somewhere close -- I think...I know it says he was from Decatur/Priceville...I'm wondering how they found the bodies -- if they were alerted somehow by him or something...

I agree TSC I have things to do but don't want to get out and run into a standoff or chase because if this guy my nerves are bad enough already. it is only about 2 miles from me as well and my 1st cousin whose dad (my uncle) is employed by the sherriffs office can't tell either one of us anything when we called to find out if what we heard was true he couldn't even talk so they must be running like crazy. I hope they find him soon. This is just to close to home for me and I'm hoping that when the kids get home from school that they don't know these children that well because that would break my heart even more than it is breaking for this family already.

Bamafnatk - did they say where they found the F-150 truck?

does anyone know the ages of the 2 kids that were shot? Hearing one of them might have been a softball player...don't want names ...

Yea, I don't think he's going to be able to claim mentally unstable -- this is obviously premeditated and well-thought out...
