Verizon hyped their new touch tone I-Phone and that is expected as thats called "Marketing".

But here are some things you get...

1. A phone that is very awkward to hold and after about 10 minutes your hand starts to scream at you "put this thing down."
Its like holding a piece of rectangular wood with very few ways to grip it.

2.It is extremely difficult to get out of its carrier when you get a call. I have dropped mine several times while attempting to answer the phone.

3. It is not user friendly at all and is probably one of the most complicated phones I have ever attempted to use.

4.It drops calls about 3 times more than my LG phone. There are several places in the Shoals area it fades out and drops the calls continiously. 2nd street Muscle Shoals, Avalon Ave Muscle Shoals, Highway 72 in the Valdosta Area of Tuscumbia..

5. Extremely difficult to operate between programs...too many buttons to push to get to the program you want...

6.Its touch tone, so when you put it to your ear
to use as a cell phone, if your ear touches the screen too hard, it places the call on mute...or disconnects you completely..

7. Camera works very well and makes excellent pictures...

8. The Navagational (GPS) works very well and is the best I have ever used. This is the only reason why I have not thrown it as far as I could throw it several times. So! if you travel it comes in handy..

ITS AS IF THEY SAID, LETS MAKE A HAND HELD COMPUTER. THEN AT THE END IF CAME TO THEM IN A FLASH..."THIS IS SUPPOSE TO BE A CELL PHONE. HURRY! ADD IT SOMEWHERE..."
They forgot the ole addadage "Keep it Simple Stupid"

I would look at the Voyager before purchasing the Storm, as if I was not locked into the contract on this thing I would trade it...
The Verizon people have had several brought back due to its complexity and difficulty in operating.
Its does not match the hype of the marketing...

Here is what I don't get. Everybody has a cellphone. There is power in numbers. Right? So why do we let the cellphone companies screw us so bad? Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T Mobile, it doesn't really matter which company you have your phone with, its all the same. We're locked into contracts, with bad customer service, lousy cellphone reception, using a phone for 2 years we don't like, the list goes on. Anyone have any ideas? Confused
Virgin Mobile USA. Good simple phones. I paid $9 for their cheapest model. $20 for three months at a time for 200 minutes. More than I need as my phone is for emergency calls only. No contract. Never had a dropped call or fuzzy link. Great.

I dropped Verizon due to lousy customer service. I won't go back.
being a brat i have had a cell phone as long as they have been around!! i still have my first one! big as a car battery. never dropped a call. never lost signal. never any problems. as the phone got smaller the problems increased! i guess the size of the phone is directly proportional to its reception. the smaller the phone the worse the signal. now i can tell you what the problem REALLY is! the old HUGE phones used a 2-3 watt signal! now days it is more like 0.2-0.3 watt signal. so, the phone has less "distance" the signal will travel. to fix this they put towers up everywhere! or so they would have you think. hahahahaha. prime property still demands prime price!! even if it is a six foot square!! ahahaha. and the next problem is the company doesn't want to put a tower where there aren't many people! so, buy the phone that use a stronger signal or more watts!!! but, be prepared to charge the phone more often!!! there is the trade off! welcome to cell phone signals 101! hahahaha sorry! hope this helps!!!

You been hanging out with C.T far too long buddy!! LOL!!
oh, i forgot the original point of the topic! hahahaha smokin' early does that! hahahahaha

the "smart phones" use more power for the other features. internet, calculator, mp3 player, camera..... so there is less power for the phone! hahahaha. try texting! i bet it never lost a signal or can't get a connection!!! it works on the computer end of the signal not the phone! hahahaha! even if it says it has no signal usually the text will go out! hahaha
