The President did his part and issued the ban. He cannot be at every airport or control the exceptions that some employees in the field make. Could be some got in because people deliberately allowed it due to their dislike of Trump but at least Trump did attempt to stop entry for which he was condemned as racist. No surprise there though because in many people's eyes Trump could not do anything right just as in some people's eyes Trump can do no wrong. Having that opinion, either opinion is dangerous but in this case, Trump acted correctly and did right.
Since officials first reported the coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan in late December and the United States imposed a travel ban for those entering from China, Border Patrol agents have detained 333 Chinese nationals attempting to enter the United States illegally, according to Department of Homeland Security data obtained by Fox News.
While none have tested positive for the virus, the southern border remains a primary focus of the Trump administration, which sees the area as high risk and a gateway for COVID-19 to spread in the U.S.
