Most already saw this on the news. I was just posting because of the other brands besides Castleberry's brand.

"Castleberry's, which is owned by Bumble Bee Seafoods LLC and based in San Diego, voluntarily expanded the recall.

Brand names of the recalled products include Austex, Best Yet, Big Y, Black Rock, Bryan, Bunker Hill, Castle, Castleberry's, Cattle Drive, Firefighter, Food Club, Georgia, Goldstar, Great Value, Kroger, Lowes, Meijer, Morton House, Paramount, Piggly Wiggly, Prudence, Southern Home, Steak N Shake, Thrifty Maid, Triple Bar and Value Time. The recall also includes four varieties of Natural Balance dog food. "
☺If con is the opposite of pro, then what is the opposite of progress?☺

Don't Toss 'em... get your money back for them!!!!

The BAD thing about this is that my son-in-law who works nightshift, fixed hot dogs for lunch yesterday, WITH the Castleberry Chili.. SAME freaking lot number, and now he and my daughter is freaking out... Botulism is nothing to play with!!!

I get regular FDA recalls in my email every day, sometimes 1 and sometimes up to 10... The one about Castleberry's said they were recalling EVERYTHING they had on the shelf... hope you didn't decide to do chili dogs yesterday too!!! Frowner

I got on the FDA website and checked for the codes or dates of the products they were pulling. The product I have is not part of the recall. No didn't have chili dogs like planned, I made spaghetti instead..
I know that most of you don't like cluttering yp your email's... but I signed up for the Daily FDA Recall list, and sometimes I get 10 a day... but it has been WELL worth it for me... if they don't apply to me or my life, I can delete them, and they are VERY informative.

There is a place on the FDA site that you click on to put your email address in so that they will send them to you too, if you are interested...
