Rumors have circulated for the past few weeks that Chavez had succumbed to the cancer which had ravaged him.  Now media such as MSNBC shows "thousands" of mourners crying in the streets at the loss of the tyrant who ruled for 14 years while manipulating the media and ravaging businesses. Those same people are likely the ones who were being supporte by the government.  The tills however were starting to dry up and Chaves's popularity was soon to be on the downside spiral. he is credited with creating a utopia with free healthcre, yet he fled to Cuba for therapy.  Too bad he did not have access to Obamacare, he would not have suffered for so long and would probably have died quicker.

Now we will see the Hollywood elite like Danny Glover and Sean "I never met a liberal I did not like" Penn who will tell us what a wonderful human being Chavez was ad how we have lost a great man.  Ironically, there are many who would say the same of Mussolini and Hitler.  To his grave Chavez and his followers have insisted that America is the one who "gave him the cancer". So on top of his arrogance, he was also paranoid. He mantained a close alliance with Iran and mutliple "ghost flights"  have been documented likely carrying weapons to Venezuala from the little Iranian despot.

Now, Venezuaela stands on the precipice to make a decision on their future.  These are interesting times in which we live.

Hillary in 2016?  Why not?  We've already had one "girly man" serving in office for the past 7 years, we might as well give her chance as well!

Sean Penn and other Hollywood stars are grieving the death of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, whose death at age 58 was announced on Tuesday, March 5. "I lost a friend I was blessed to have, and poor people around the world lost a champion," said Oscar winner and activist Penn, 52, in a statement.

Penn has long been a vocal supporter of the controversial leader, who had been privately battling cancer for years. The Dead Man Walking star first met Chavez in 2007 and appeared at a vigil last December as Chavez underwent surgery doctors hoped would save his life. "He's one of the most important forces we've had on this planet," Penn said at the time. He had previously praised Chavez as a "model democrat"; back in 2010, he charged that anyone calling Chavez a dictator "should be jailed."

Chavez returned the favor in a public speech, applauding Penn's "great films" and adding, "he's one of the greatest opponents of the Iraq invasion."

Other Hollywood insiders remembering Chavez include director Oliver Stone, who chronicled his rise to power in his documentary South of the Border. Calling Chavez a "hero," Stone tweeted "Hugo Chavez will live forever in history. My friend, rest finally in peace long earned." Chavez and Stone walked the red carpet together at the 2009 Venice Film Festival.

Filmmaker Michael Moore, rocker Courtney Love and actor/activist Danny Glover also met with Chavez over the years, with the Venezuelan congress giving Glover $18 million to fund a film.
