Well, again, you call it spite, I don't. You're at a redlight and it turns green. It takes 2-3 seconds tops to see what the traffic is doing that has the redlight now. Someone didn't do that a few days ago and a woman is dead. I'm talking about people that lay down on the horn the instant the light turns green and you don't take off like a bull out of a shute. They're the ones I have a problem with, and I phrased it that way in my first posts. They're rude, and they could startle someone into running into a car that is running the redlight. So call me spiteful if you want, doesn't bother me one bit. I'm not going to let some rude jacka** make me do something that might be dangerous. To me those are the same people that pull up to 4-way stops the same time as other cars, and just barrel through without making sure the other cars aren't moving out. Or they "jump their turn" and cause other cars moving out to have to stop. They're the ones that have no regard for other's safety. I never do that to anyone in front of me, I have enough sense to know that they will move in a few seconds. Tell me you have never been stopped at a redlight and had a car in the next lane blow through it, or that you've never had to stop because someone jumped their turn at a stop sign.

What you said was "I just sit there until it turns red again". You said you would do this if someone blowed their horn for you to go after the light turns green.
After some of us called you on what you said, only then did you say you checked to see if it was clear in the other direction before moving.
You changed your story.

Some would call you a rude jacka** for sitting thru a green light for spite.

You don't know for a fact that Gary Dobbs ran a red light. Some witnesses say he did, others say he didn't.

Yes, there is people that run red lights. I was sitting at a red light on Woodward & Avalon a couple of days ago & this jerk to our left didn't even slow down, went right thru the red light.
But that's not what we're talking about.
We're talking about you sitting thru a green light because someone behind you blowed their horn & you decide to sit thru the green light to spite them.
Those were your words. Razzer

No I didn't say if they "blowed their horn". I said if they blew their horn the second the light turned. I don't know what your problem is, you seem obsessive and a bit of a control freak too. I told you time and time again it rarely happened because most people have enough sense to know traffic will move when it's safe. And don't tell me what I mean, I posted what I meant. But again just for you. If you are behind me and you lay down on the horn the second the light turns green because YOU don't think I'm moving fast enough to suit YOU, then you can sit your butt through another light, or change lanes and go around. You want to see spite? Read your posts. I am beginning to think you just like to argue. Show me where I said Gary Dobbs ran a redlight. I said someone did. That means either he or the woman. Either way, a woman is dead. Most likely you're one of those people that think they're so important that they get to make the rules of the road. And someone blowing through a redlight is EXACTLY what we're talking about, and not being the one that they hit when they do it.

That's horrible. You just never know what people will do if they get pi**ed off.

I'm happy Jennifer doesn't know where I live. Big Grin
