Anyone heard it yet? Thoughts?

I've heard the single and a couple of other tracks, not very impressed.

I liked it quite a bit. I gave it a quick once over last night when I got home and was very impressed, it was very eclectic.. ranging from piano driven songs, to very heavy guitar riffs and 80's style solos and even a little latin and techno flavor here and there.

I went back and have listened to songs a few times over in three song increments to get a better feel for each song.

I love tracks 1,3,4, & 6, I am ok about track 2, but not a big fan of track 5.
I had pre-ordered it and received it Saturday. It's OK. Axl's voice is still incredible, of course, but I do miss Slash! I think the main reason that I'm not head over heels for it is just because I don't know the songs. The "oldies" have great memories to go with them so I think that makes a difference. I think, with time, the songs will grow on me! If you are a G&R fan, I would still recommend buying it.

I very much agree with this, currently it is my least favorite GNR album of original material but even this one is **** near perfect.

Anyone who liked GNR music up til this point will also enjoy this album and if they trash it they do so because GNR isnt trendy, hugely popular now because it is stil high quality music.

Chinese Democracy,Better and Madagascar all amazing
