City to Open Arabic Public School in Brooklyn

Is it me or has this country lost its mind. Our public school system is a mess. Math and science scores are lacking. We have to teach bilingual classes in some schools because of all the illegal immigrants and now we are going to open a school dedicated to Arabic language and culture, where half the classes will be taught in Arabic. If this was a private school, more power to them. However, American taxpayers are paying for this. Unbelievable!
