If Hillary Clinton gets the nomination, I think I will sit down and cry. To think this supposedly "smart" woman voted for this horrible, unwarranted war that caused such chaos and distruction here and abroad...and she still has not apologized to the American people. I can forgive someone's mistakes only if they admit it - in my book she is no better than dick cheney and george bush.
I was raised to believe that you never voted for a party - you voted issues. To do otherwise was narrow minded - tunnel vision if you will. Sorry Mom and Dad, but after dick and george, I will never even look at a republican again. OLD HUNDRED YEARS WAR I DON'T KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THE ECONOMY BUT I ONCE READ AN ALAN GREENSPAN BOOK mccain is nothing more than an even more senile dick and george.
Interesting that Pelosi states the superdelegates must vote the way of the majority. Then, why did they have superdelegates in the first place? I thought tthe superdelegates were a means to keep the idealogues from completely dominating the party. I'm enjoying the dimmi civil war! Some one get red kyptonite for the superdelegates and then it will really be fun!

My Dad was a die hard Republican, but I always voted for issues too, not a party.

Sorry Mom and Dad, but after dick and george, I will never even look at a republican again.

So now you will forever vote party & not issues?

I think that remark was completely uncalled for. I agree with tnt if Obama gets the nominee I will vote republican. Just because she doesn't like Obama doesn't make her or myself a racist, we just don"t like his views. How would you like for someone to say the same about you being racist against the white race because you are voting for Obama or being a sexest for not voting for Hillary. Same thing in my eyes. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

McCain will be another Bush, that is scary in itself.
Obama & Hillary are also scary as to what they will do as president.
What's a person to do come voting time? Confused Only choice I have is not to vote.

Tac,

Please, please do not choose to not vote. Too many people died so that women and minorities could vote. Although that may seem like a life time ago, let's all agree that we should not take our priviledge to vote for granted.

Yes I have noticed that ,and I aslo noticed how the Obama supporters call McCain a low life and if you dont see any negative opinions about him or Hillary open your eyes and put down your shovel that your using to dig at people with !!! Harboring resentments is right but not from where your pointing at ,turn the finger around .

That they're smart. Obama's an unknown factor, unproven as a politician or a diplomat, with radical friends in his background that he refuses to distance himself from. He's been noted in several instances that bring his patriotism (or lack of it) to the fore front.

BTW, I absolutely despise and detest Hillary. I just don't trust and wouldn't vote for Obama. Other than that, I have no feelings for or against him. And my feelings are not based on race, creed or color.

TNT, Did you read my post? I said "more than Hillary and McCain." What part of that suggests that there were none towards Hillary and McCain? So let me pick up my shovel and use it to say I'm sorry for you being illiterate! Smiler

Radical friends??? I assume you mean Rev Wright? Have you even listened to one whole sermon yet? I love how people form an opinion off of 30 seconds of sound bites. Please listen to a whole sermon before you call him radical. After doing so, you'll find he's really not.

And as for patriotism, when I was growing up, I was taught to put your hand over your heart during the Pledge and to stand at attention during the playing of the national anthem. The only picture that I see repeatedly is Barack standing at attention during the national anthem, not the Pledge. Is this what you are referring to? And please tell me you're not measuring patriotism by whether or not a person wears a clichéd lapel pin.

A quote from your minister of love, rev. Wright:
"The government lied about inventing the HIV virus as a means of genocide against people of color" and "[t]he government gives them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three-strike law and then wants us to sing 'God Bless America.' No, no, no, God **** America, that's in the Bible for killing innocent people...God **** America for treating our citizens as less than human. God **** America for as long as she acts like she is God and she is supreme"

TITLE 36 > Subtitle I > Part A > CHAPTER 3 > § 301Prev | Next
§ 301. National anthem

(a) Designation.— The composition consisting of the words and music known as the Star-Spangled Banner is the national anthem.
(b) Conduct During Playing.— During a rendition of the national anthem—
(1) when the flag is displayed—
(A) all present except those in uniform should stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart;
(B) men not in uniform should remove their headdress with their right hand and hold the headdress at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart; and
(C) individuals in uniform should give the military salute at the first note of the anthem and maintain that position until the last note; and
(2) when the flag is not displayed, all present should face toward the music and act in the same manner they would if the flag were displayed.

How would a CANDIDATE for President NOT KNOW THIS? Something that first graders are taught all around the country.

Absolute utter irresponsibility, or total defiance? You make the call.

Sometimes all it takes is 30 seconds to see ones true colors. Razzer

Now if Hillary's or Mccains preacher would have said this I wonder what yall would be saying about them. By the things Obamas preacher said it sounds as if he hates everything America stands for.

1)Where is your proof that the government has not lied about inventing HIV?
2)Where is your proof about the government has not hindered cures for HIV?
3)Are you denying the Tuskeegee experiment?
4)Are you denying historical facts regarding the government and certain police depts placing drugs in certain communities?
5)Do you deny that God will punish us "for treating our citizens as less than human?"
6)Do you deny that God will punish us if "we act like we are God?"
7)Do you deny that most of America does not put their hand over their heart during the National Anthem, but do so during the Pledge?
8)Do you deny that McCain's/ Hillary's supporters have said 9/11, Katrina, and other horrific events happened because of the sins of America?

Obviously, you won't answer my questions!!! Have a nice day.

Spend one day at the TTU clinic and tour the research labs at St. Jude and then tell me if you think that there is some government or other agency trying to hinder a cure for HIV. Seriously, how can you even remotely think such a thing!

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is part of the AIDS Clinical Trial Group

Obviously, I will.

Where is your proof that there were any lies told about HIV? Or that anybody was hindered in an attempt to cure it? By the government or anybody else?

The Tuskeegee experiment was not part of the good rev's rant, so I see no connection to that event. It was a dark episode in American History, but as I was not even born, let alone consulted, I feel no guilt or remorse.

Yes, I deny that police departments "place drugs" in certain communities, and defy you to prove it.

I'm not a practicing Christian, so my thoughts about God have nothing to do with this.

And I emphatically state that I put my hand over my heart during both the National Anthem and the Pledge of Allegiance. I was taught that in grade school, as was millions of other kids, and numerous years later, I still do it. EVERYBODY that I associate with does it for both.

I deny McCain made the statement you claim about catastrophies. Prove it if he did.

Clinton, is not my candidate of choice, so I don't plan on quoting her. If I remembered anything she had said along those lines, I would indeed be posting it.

And neither McCain or his minister have ever suggested to the congregation that they sing "God **** America".

You have a nice day, too.
