Court order? Oh, I hear somebody's going to post it online...right next to Obama's Kenyan birth certificate and that memo from the social security department with all the 666's in it. I can hardly wait.

I did hear that the heir to the Landrum estate asked anyone on FB to remove any Landrum photos. That was from all FB pages, not just Remembering Florence. That's his/her right. When you take a small fact like that and distort and add to, it just makes you look either not too smart or not too nice.

The problem is Camille thinks she is a writer because she produced one book. She is jealous of the attention given to other writers, one in particular. She wasn't invited to Cold Water because, well she just don't qualify as a writer. Jr Samples aka John Reb is in hopes of getting some of that and that is why he is trying to make a stink. He is hoping to hit that. Good luck with that. At least thats what I heard.......

look simpleton... there were DOZENS of people at the event. NOT ONE ever saw any "papers being served"! you sound like an utter fool. i was there almost the entire time. i have no clue who told you what happend, but you were mislead. i'll be glad to meet you at the courthouse tomorrow and walk you into any office you wanna go and prove you wrong.

That is a serious accusation, Phaedra. I hope you have concrete evidence for it. I find the accusation absurd and unbelievable.

In order to prevent your being accused of spreading malicious rumors, I suggest you post publicly your evidence for that claim or retract it. Your post is libelous on its face, and you should be prepared to defend it and yourself.

With all due respect Not Shallow Not Slim, your suggestions have no merit with me. They do not pay my bills. Letting people know about this virus potential does have merit with me.
In regards to what I can and cannot prove, rest assured I don't waste my resources (one of them being time) on things I am not fully prepared to handle.
Besides, I am not the only one who has had this experience. Our fellow poster Camille made a note of the same thing.

Ummm but you cannot dispute it. Amazon.com is where you order the book from. And it is your inferior anti virus program that has recognized the site as a potential hazard. Man, I don't look down on you for that at all. You didn't kill anyone and if you kept your mouth shut and didn't take anyone down with you, that says a great deal about your character.

Knowing that about you makes me wonder why you are doing what you are here? Obviously you have some strong morals (to me weed is not morally wrong) so why would you try and tear down something like this book? Why would you begrudge them any success on its sales? I don't personally know Ms. Glass or Mr. Fisher. but I feel pretty sure that they did this by the book and didn't try and screw anyone over. Seems like they did a great thing. I know I am really looking forward to getting my copy. I love my hometown and I am just glad someone took the time and spent the effort to produce this collection of pictures and memories.

I also read on their information section of facebook where it said, if you didn't want your pictures used to just say so and they would not be published in the book.

Junior I think this must be personal on your part. Otherwise I don't get the animosity towards the authors or this book.
