To Florence Tuesday Night for the bi-weekly City Council Meeting. Stars will include Sam Pendleton objecting to everything, James Barnhart saying nothing, and others trying to call Sam out. I say this much. VOTE EM ALL OUT!!! Start fresh even with the mayor.

our city council is embarrasing to the city of florence.i do watch every week just to watch a few make a fool out of themselves.its pretty bad when you got officals in other cities making fun out of them.it hurts me.its reminds me of a lady (mrs romine) who is a saint compared to a few sitting on the council.sam and james need to resign because of the racist remarks about china.all hell would break loose if someone on council refused to sell the property to africa because of their type of goverment they have.sam would lead the charge on that one.he is a racist and it showed
Maybe they should also stop over at Sweetwater while they are here. Gathering from the threads that are posted on here about it that bunch belongs on Comedy Central.
just an idea... how about putting all of them in the Florence coliseum... turn off the lights...
last man standing is the new mayor... first one to get up is on the city council... and we just follow that until all the spots are filled... sell tickets and make a little extra for the city in the process!!!!
How fast could we organize a flash mob to go to the meeting Tuesday night and just hold up signs about how ashamed we are of our elected officials? Would we have to get a permit to do something like that? We're all talking about it but not doing anything about it.
Isn't this about the third time there has been a campaign to "Vote em all out" in Florence??
I remember my dad had a sign in the yard a few years ago. Instead of worrying about "Vote em all out" how about "Vote the RIGHT ONE'S in"
As I remember, ALL seemed pretty embarrassing except Dr. Morris.
Maybe going for someone of substance and education instead of "goes to my church" or is "a good ol boy"
Just a thought.
Postmaster, I agree. It just seems like we keep on making the same mistakes every time. And if you'll check the number of people voting, there aren't that many people bothering to get out to vote. They don't vote unless they do know one of the candidates personally and that's what causes the problem. Just because you know someone doesn't mean they're suited for the job.
