I'm curious what you mean by the remark you made about Retirement, that you couldn't live that way? Confused
What "way" is that?
My husband retired last year & it wasn't due to health reasons. He's 54 & due to an offer that TVA made to some of the guys, it would have been foolish to turn it down, so they didn't.
We're both loving retirement but you made it sound as though it's something nasty! Mad

I will, however, make note of the information you posted in case I want to explore a different venue in the future.
Having new avenues to explore is always a good option.
Thank you. A decent reply amidst created controversy was what I set out to find.
I wish you well with your writing career.

Most publishers are putting books in all formats now. Check out Amazon where you'll find hardback, paperback, digital (or ebook), CD, mp3 file, you name it! The cost to print a book electronically is next to nothing. Paperback and hardback can get expensive and the author's royalties are disappointing. (I know. I have a hardback coming out this Fall from The Lotus Circle)
Thanks for the well wishes IIII. Back atcha!

TVA made the same sort of offer to my grandfather 20 years ago. He took it too and opened a shop which he still enjoys at the age of 85.

Have fun being retired young, Taciturn!
So glad I found this site. August is a blue moon month containing two months giving us two opportunies to make our wishes become reality.
Aug. 1 at 5:13 am and Aug. 20 at 3:58. Great power days. Caution that there is a rather emotional note as a Moon Wobble occurs from 8/2-8/16. I can feel it reading these forums. Total eclipse of Sun on 1st and Lunar on the 16th. WOW!!!!
I guess all my calendars are wrong too!!!Actually, it occurred this morning at 5:13 am est.in the sign of Leo The second the 30th at 2:58 pm est. in the sign of Virgo. Sorry Fox you are wrong again. I guess there were no solar eclipse either. Like DF says, the geese fly south, the geese fly south.
And again, the Blue Moons are the New Moons. Repeat after me. Blue Moons, New Moons
Since you called me a dope, I guess you must be my ex-wife.

Here's wiki's def. Blue moon is a FULL moon not a NEW moon.

From wiki:

A blue moon is actually a name given to an irregularly timed full moon. Most years have twelve full moons which occur approximately monthly, but each calendar year contains those twelve full lunar cycles plus about eleven days to spare. The extra days accumulate, so that every two or three years there is an extra full moon (this happens every 2.72 years). Different definitions place the extra moon at different times - the extra moon is called a "blue moon".

Sorry, didn't mean to call you a Dope. I meant Nope!!!
Now you are getting it, two (extra) means blue. Two moons this month. Can be full or new. A crash coarse in astrology. And everyone says, the geese fly south, the geese fly south. DF love that saying.
